Like the cold wind in your ears
I'm a true dilettante. I like to think I love music and comic books and that's what you'll see here. I do not own any of the material exposed. If it's yours and you don't want it to appear here, please contact me through coldwindears(at)gmail(dot)com. Support the artists: buy their material and attend their gigs!

This post’s terribly late because when it originally was going to be posted, tumblr had one of its famous breakdowns, and I lost what I had written. So, after a month and a half and dozens of exams, here it is, at last! Since I got it, A Lull grew up a solid basis of fans. In part it was due to their US tour, but to it much contributed the EP guest remixes. But who exactly are A Lull? They’re a Chicago quartet adherent to American indie/rock roots we’ve been hearing a lot of since our teen years. ‘Till now, and especially after listening to “Some Love” (which is cute, but not necessarily new, if you know what I mean), it’s all OK. But wait, there are the remixes. And not talking ‘bout them would be nonsense. They’re actually one of its the best features. Brothertiger chose to construct the perfect scenary of any paradisiac beach with a balearic remix. City Light kept faithful to the original. Sun Glitters made a rich rework of the single, a mix of his fingerprint chillstep with dreamwave and a little appointment of shoegaze. All of them lovely. And have I mentioned it’s all free? Indeed, it is.
