    I still remember the time Shlohmo was underground and a few of my friends would listen and like his music. The whole paradigm changed when “Bad Vibes” was acclaimed everywhere (maybe except in VICE). Suddenly every hipster-maniac wouldn’t breathe if he didn’t have every week a new Shlohmo’s piece. FDS. I feared he would quit his excellence patterns, but hopefully, he didn’t. And the best proof is this highly awaited “Vacation” EP, one in which we’ve been given single by single, remix by remix, like a tap drop by drop filling in the sink. Despite the delay on the blog’s facebook page and tumblr, “wen uuu” (both the original and remixes) is known. What motivated this post tonight was Jaar remix of “Rained The Whole Time”. His OMG remix. Nicolas is back to memorable works (consider his new single), and his remixes lately are again so desirable. It’s impossible not to fall in love for the cadence of the track, which alternates guitars, a Jaar’s distinctive signature, with drums and vocals. I’m dying to know how does Groundislava sounds like. Seriously, have a listen if you haven’t already.
