Like the cold wind in your ears
I'm a true dilettante. I like to think I love music and comic books and that's what you'll see here. I do not own any of the material exposed. If it's yours and you don't want it to appear here, please contact me through coldwindears(at)gmail(dot)com. Support the artists: buy their material and attend their gigs!

Perhaps the name Daniel Avery is not very informative, except he is a Relish signee. But if instead you read Stopmakingme, then you begin to see the light. That’s right; they’re one and the same person. And better than that is Daniel’s most recent release on this label, the magnetic “Airstrike” EP. The entitling track has an almost dirty bassline mixed & matched with a feminine “ah ah ah” and striking drums you could lose your head for. The single was doubly remixed. If the original winked at night clubs, Tom Furse (from The Horrors) accelerated it a little more and put it even more danceable. Remain (aka Romain Rouffiac) chose to twist some parts, add some dub and more drums. But don’t forget the rest of the EP - “Sleeper” jumped into my list of songs to listen before going to bed, so tender it is, and because it drinks its essence on first electronic days. “Input Machine” is constructed above a man’s voice taken from the vaults, that suddenly becomes disco-friendly. And that’s it.
