Like the cold wind in your ears
I'm a true dilettante. I like to think I love music and comic books and that's what you'll see here. I do not own any of the material exposed. If it's yours and you don't want it to appear here, please contact me through coldwindears(at)gmail(dot)com. Support the artists: buy their material and attend their gigs!

Since we entered the course we’ve talked about alcoholism and its consequences every year. I remember the first time the issue was touched on: it was on a BioChem class. Obviously, as young “babes” we were, we got a brief explanation of what delirium tremens consisted of, and by chance had even the possibility to observe it some days later. Last semester on Neurology we had the chance to watch it again. Why all the fuss about it? Besides a matter of interest and study, it’s the perfect description for Nathan Fake’s remix of Neon Jung’s original. I knew already the first from somewhere, but only saw and heard the second on XLR8R (which is btw giving it away). The intentionally disorganized original, not strictly house, but accompanied by strong bass pitch and airy synths (the last exacerbated on the remix), gets something of 80’s spaceship synths and something absolutely amusing - the final distortion of the track, as if it was a broken record. It made me smile.
